All Classic Pet Portrait Session clients have the option to add on additional artwork! How fun!!! You can select from a variety of artwork from the best vendors in the industry. Each piece will spark wonderful memories that will last a lifetime!

DIGITAL PLAYBOOK - $600

All sessions include digital files via online download. However, if you want to upgrade the experience and have something to hold in your hands, opt to add on the Digital Playbook! This is one of the most unique ways to receive your digital files! Upon opening your Digital Playbook, your very own custom slideshow begins to play on the 10-inch LCD screen. This will be sure to impress with a built-in speaker, auto-play upon opening, tactile control buttons, and 2 hours of playtime before recharging is needed. The Playbook turns into a picture viewer and also serves as an external drive which can connect to your Mac or PC to access all of the high resolution digital files from your session.

I know that investing in a photo shoot is a big decision and I’m here to help! Here are some of the frequently asked questions clients have as they move through the process. Don’t see your question here? Just give me a shout!

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Weather is very important for the success of the session as I prefer to shoot with sunny skies a couple hours before sunset. If the weather is cloudy, rainy, or too hot, we can simply reschedule for another day.

Do you photograph any pets other than dogs?

Absolutely! I will photograph any pet! Well, anything but spiders (sorry tarantula owners).

My dog is shy, hyper, nervous, untrained, etc. is it still possible to do a photo shoot?

Yes! Any dog can turn into a model with the right amount of patience, treats, toys, and understanding.

My dog needs to remain on a leash. Is that ok for photos?

Safety is always a major concern so I actually prefer your dog stay on a leash if they don’t have a reliable recall. Typically I’ll bring along a very long lead so your dog can roam as if he/she was completely free. Most of the time leashes can be removed in post-production if they distract from the image.

Can I/my family be in the pictures?

Sure thing! I love capturing the relationship between pets and their people! Please keep in mind that I don’t shoot posed family portraits so your images will have a more candid feel with the focus remaining on your pet.

How do i choose a location? Do you have any suggestions?

The best locations are places familiar to your pet but with minimal distractions - your backyard, a hiking trail, or areas along your daily walk. Great lighting is a bonus! Telling a story of your dog’s favorite routine is always a great theme to work with. I always have location suggestions I can recommend if you want to mix it up a bit or if you feel your spots aren’t super photo-worthy!

Can I bring along a friend/spouse/kids to the shoot?

Unless the people in question are going to be in the pictures or help wrangle pups, it is best if they stay at home. The less distractions your pet has, the better he/she will perform at the shoot.

How long before the images are ready?

Online galleries are typically ready 2 weeks after your session date. Your prints and products will be ready within 2-3 weeks from your order being placed and/or designs being approved. Please schedule accordingly if you are planning a session for a gift or special occasion.

What types of payment do you accept? Do you have payment plans?

I accept cash, check, or credit card. Yes, I do offer payment plans customized just for you! Your images and artwork will not be delivered until the balance is paid in full.

How long do you keep my images?

Your images are backed up and kept safe for a period of twelve months following your session date. After that date, the files are deleted.
