Taking pictures of dogs getting baths (or tubbies as my pups know them), is one of the most fun and entertaining things to me. They are drenched and so goofy looking but still have a smile on their faces! So when I was asked to photograph the annual K9 Support Dog Wash for Dogtopia of Charlotte, I jumped on it!
This year's event raised money for Paws With a Cause - an organization that has placed more than 2,500 assistance dogs across the US. The funds will benefit their veteran assistance dogs program to enhance the quality of life for disabled veterans.
Yesterday's event raised $2,462 by giving 57 baths, 27 nail trims, and 17 de-shedding brush-outs! Woohoo!!!
I had a blast working with everyone's pups and the UH-mazing volunteers! Get ready for some pictures of funny-faced, watered-down pups getting tubbies... ;)
