Last week I introduced you to Windi and Crickett - two pretty cool and fun Shelties that spend their time as therapy dogs in the children's hospital. A couple weeks after our session, we took a day-trip with their mom to Folly Beach, SC. Their mom has spent quite a bit of time down there and she volunteered to show me around so I could be more prepared for my upcoming beach sessions.
I've done a number of sessions at the beach but on this particular day, the wind was seriously CRAZY! We tried to keep the pups out of the blowing sand but they didn't seem to mind much. Even the pretty-chill Crickett got an unusual case of the zoomies when a stick went tumbling down the beach in front of her. It was so funny and we laughed for a good 10 minutes after that!
I knew these ladies would be super patient with me so I even experimented with some off-camera flash. I'm pretty happy with the results and I can't wait to get back down there in September!
