I’m a huge fan of Rotties. Like HUGE! In fact, I want to adopt one at some point and name him Barry. Oh yeah!!! That’s because they are big cuddly bears with giant handsome block heads! So Barry for bear. Makes sense in my mind. Lol!
Anyway…onto the superstar of this session that took place on a BEAUTIFUL evening down in Saguaro National Park. This is Sora!
This cutie patutie is still quite a puppy at 1.5 years old. She has amazing energy, the biggest smile, and gives lots of slobbery kisses. ❤️ She regularly goes places with her parents but on this particular weekend trip she HAD to be included because it was an extra special occasion.
So what was the occasion? It was her mom’s birthday 🎉 and, as a gift, her dad planned a thoughtful weekend away down to Tucson - including time for a photo shoot with Sora! Not only was the session part of the birthday festivities, they also booked an AirBnB that was dog-friendly and made sure every restaurant would cater to Sora’s presence. Isn’t that the best?
Because Sora’s parents moved from Chicago about 6 years ago, they wanted to highlight the fact that they now live in the desert and are surrounded by gorgeous cacti. Saguaro National Park was the ideal location to highlight our famous prickly plants while showing off the special love they have for their adorable 4-legged Rottie.
I absolutely loved everything about this session and I can’t wait to see Sora’s artwork! I’m so happy that this gift meant so much to Sora’s mom!
